We are thrilled to invite you to our exclusive Sock Blank Dyeing Workshop, where you'll have the chance to create your own one-of-a-kind sock masterpieces. What is a Sock Blank? A sock blank is a long, flat, pre-knit piece of fabric that is specifically designed for dyeing and later unravelling to create stunning, self-striping socks. Unlike traditional yarn skeins, sock blanks offer endless possibilities for artistic expression, making them a perfect canvas for your creativity. What to Expect? During this workshop, you will learn various dyeing techniques and colour blending methods to transform your blank canvas into a work of art. Lisa will guide you through the entire process, from preparing the sock blanks to applying dyes and setting the colours. Your creations, your style. With the freedom to mix and match colours, patterns, and styles, you'll have the opportunity to design socks that perfectly match your personality. Whether you prefer bold and bright hues or subtle pastel shades, this workshop will empower you to express your individuality through your handmade creations. Materials Provided - 100g pre-knit double sock blank. - High-quality dyes in a wide range of colours. - Protective gear (gloves, aprons, etc.). - All necessary dyeing equipment. - Chance to purchase another sock blank. Don't miss this chance to unleash your inner artist and craft your very own custom fabric for socks, shawl or any other project with a 100g of your own dyed yarn. We will also provide you with a knitting or crochet pattern to make your own socks during the session. Cancelations and Rescheduling You can reschedule a bookaclass.org event up to 2 weeks before the commencement of the event. bookaclass.org will transfer your booking to an alternative date and provide written confirmation of the cancelation and new booking. Cancelations within 2 weeks of the event will not be refunded, however bookaclass.org will look to reschedule you onto a future bookaclass.org event. This option is at the discretion of bookaclass.org. Your Right to Cancel If you are a customer living in the United Kingdom or the European Union you have the right to cancel your contract to purchase services from us within 14 days of purchase without giving notice. The cancellation period will end 14 days from the date of purchase when you purchased a service.
