In this half-day workshop join us and make yourself or the adventurous creative in your life a unique Notebook Cover. Create your own unique A6 leather-covered notebook for sketching, field notes recipes or diary entries. The journal is small enough to tuck into a pocket but big enough to hold favourite cuttings, photographs and postcards. Using simple leather work techniques, in a natural finished leather which gets better as it ages, you will create a practical and pleasing item to take home with you at the end of the workshop. We will cover a range of different skills from cutting leather, to stitching, punching and mark-making, you will also get the opportunity to personalise your notebook cover with individual initials. Your tutor, Catherine Edwards, trained as a boot and shoemaker working for many years before embarking on a residency at the royal armouries. This led to the production of her first collection of unique leather goods. Cancelations within 2 weeks of the event will not be refunded, however bookaclass.org will look to reschedule you onto a future bookaclass.org event. This option is at the discretion of bookaclass.org. Your Right to Cancel If you are a customer living in the United Kingdom or the European Union you have the right to cancel your contract to purchase services from us within 14 days of purchase without giving notice. The cancellation period will end 14 days from the date of purchase when you purchased a service.
