Come and spend your day trying out enamelling whether for the first time or whether you have previous experience. Work with recycled copper and vitreous enamel (ground glass) and watch the magic creation when fired in the kiln. There are so many techniques to choose from. You will be shown decals, scrafitto techniques, glass stringers and/or millie fiore, silver leaf and silver foil, lustres and stencils. You will make five 3"x3" pieces, or make some earrings, a ring bowl, pendants or a keyring. Everything you make you can take away on the day. Note of caution. Enamelling is addictive and you can never master it but it will probably be the most fun you've ever had! Heather is an Enamel Artist, a member of Heritage Crafts and the Guild of Enamellers and is a participant of North Yorkshire Open Studios in 2024. Saturday 25 May 2024 10am - 4pm with Heather Croft This workshop takes place at: Hummersknott Academy Edinburgh Drive Darlington DL3 8AR All materials and refreshments included. Lunch isn't provided for this workshop. Please bring your own lunch.

Cancelations within 2 weeks of the event will not be refunded, however bookaclass.org will look to reschedule you onto a future bookaclass.org event. This option is at the discretion of bookaclass.org. Your Right to Cancel If you are a customer living in the United Kingdom or the European Union you have the right to cancel your contract to purchase services from us within 14 days of purchase without giving notice. The cancellation period will end 14 days from the date of purchase when you purchased a service.
