Beginner's Drawing Workshop

If you have never even picked up a pencil with the intention to draw, or if you enjoy drawing but want to learn some skills to help you develop, this could be the workshop for you. Focusing on basic drawing techniques such as line and shading; looking at how to depict depth, shape, and texture; as well as how to use observation skills and your imagination, Annie will help remove the fear of a blank sheet of paper and start you on your drawing journey. Using a number of different media, and learning various simple techniques, you will build up your skills to produce a finished still life image by the end of the day. Annie has a degree in illustration, specialising in children’s book illustration, and currently works as a muralist, window artist, fine artist, and illustrator. She has been teaching art to adults and children for the past twenty years. Saturday 9 November 2024 10am - 4pm with Annie Quicke This workshop takes place at: Hummersknott Academy Edinburgh Drive Darlington DL3 8AR Includes all materials and refreshments. Lunch isn't provided for this workshop. Please bring your own lunch.

This option is at the discretion of bookaclass.org. Your Right to Cancel If you are a customer living in the United Kingdom or the European Union you have the right to cancel your contract to purchase services from us within 14 days of purchase without giving notice. The cancellation period will end 14 days from the date of purchase when you purchased a service.
