Most of us would love to be able to capture a scene in a sketch book with just a few strokes of a pencil, pen and brush. So, put your phone away, because happily, it's a skill that can be learnt and this day workshop is the ideal place to start. Jason Skill has taught several painting holidays in Italy, helping budding sketchers take their skills to the next level. During this workshop you will learn the basics of editing a scene down to only the essentials. Jason will show you which mark making methods (using both watercolour and pen) are required to make the work look fresh and exciting. Saturday 5 October 2024 10am - 4pm with Jason Skill This workshop takes place at: Hummersknott Academy Edinburgh Drive Darlington DL3 8AR Includes all materials and refreshments. Lunch isn't provided for this workshop. Please bring your own lunch.

Cancelations within 4 weeks of the event will not be refunded, however bookaclass.org will look to reschedule you onto a future bookaclass.org event. This option is at the discretion of bookaclass.org. Your Right to Cancel If you are a customer living in the United Kingdom or the European Union you have the right to cancel your contract to purchase services from us within 14 days of purchase without giving notice. The cancellation period will end 14 days from the date of purchase when you purchased a service.
