Gelliplate and Monoprint Workshop

During this exciting workshop, you will be introduced to the art of monoprinting using a Gelliplate through demonstrations by professional artist and experienced printmaker Pui Lee. Monoprinting is a simple and accessible printmaking process, which allows you the opportunity to play with colours and textures. You will also experiment with layering, stencilling and masking techniques so that you can leave the workshop with a variety of prints as stand-alone artworks in themselves, or which can used and developed further in other creative projects. There is no need for a printing press for this method and each print produced is truly unique. Widely known for being lots of fun to do, be prepared to be amazed and you will be sure to discover your creative side with all the endless possibilities that monoprinting has to offer. No experience is necessary. Your tutor is Pui Lee: a British-born Hakka Chinese artist who works across both traditional and contemporary 2D and 3D art-forms. Over the years, she has also exhibited and sold work both nationally and internationally. Cancelations within 4 weeks of the event will not be refunded, however bookaclass.org will look to reschedule you onto a future bookaclass.org event. This option is at the discretion of bookaclass.org. Your Right to Cancel If you are a customer living in the United Kingdom or the European Union you have the right to cancel your contract to purchase services from us within 14 days of purchase without giving notice. The cancellation period will end 14 days from the date of purchase when you purchased a service.
