Explore the art of enamelling in this hands-on tile workshop, where you'll create your own vibrant, glass-fused enamel tile. In this 2-hour session, you’ll learn the fundamentals of enamelling, including how to prepare and clean your metal surface, apply enamel powder, and use various techniques to layer colours and textures. The process involves fusing finely ground glass to a metal base by firing it in a kiln at high temperatures. As the glass melts and bonds with the metal, it creates a stunning, glossy surface with brilliant, long-lasting colours. Whether you're new to enamelling or have some experience, this workshop offers a chance to explore your creativity and design a decorative or functional tile. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a beautiful, handcrafted enamel tile to take home, as well as the skills to continue experimenting with this versatile and colourful craft. All materials and equipment are provided, making it a perfect introduction to the world of enamelling. Cancelations and Rescheduling You can reschedule a bookaclass.org event up to 4 weeks before the commencement of the event. bookaclass.org will transfer your booking to an alternative date and provide written confirmation of the cancelation and new booking. Cancelations within 4 weeks of the event will not be refunded, however bookaclass.org will look to reschedule you onto a future bookaclass.org event. This option is at the discretion of bookaclass.org. Your Right to Cancel If you are a customer living in the United Kingdom or the European Union you have the right to cancel your contract to purchase services from us within 14 days of purchase without giving notice. The cancellation period will end 14 days from the date of purchase when you purchased a service.
