Ceramic Moon Gazing Hare Workshop

Join Richard for a fantastic ceramic animal sculpture workshop. In this workshop you will learn, step-by-step, the key skills and techniques to create your very own unique Moon Gazing Hare. Using clay as your medium, you'll be guided with clear instructions to bring your sculpture to life. This workshop will allow you to explore the form and characteristics of a hare. In the course of one day, you'll learn the techniques to capture the essence of this beautiful animal. You'll be working with clay and various tools to shape and mold your sculpture. The materials will be provided, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the creative process. By the end of the workshop, you'll have a unique ceramic animal sculpture to take home, a tangible representation of your creativity and accomplishment. Based in Yorkshire, Richard was introduced to ceramics many years ago and since then, his work has evolved through hundreds of hours of studio time, workshops and classes. He has incorporated all the best bits he has learned over the years, and developed lots of interesting techniques that he can now teach you. Suitable for beginners, this workshop is designed to be fun and engaging, with a pace designed to suit everyone. Crafters will be amazed at how the process gradually transforms clay into a beautiful sculpture.
