Scarborough Streets is a three-day event taking place over the May Bank Holiday (4th-6th May, 2024) as part of the Scarborough Fair.

North Yorks Art School are pleased to announce we have been awarded funding to deliver a range of workshops on the 4th, 5th and 6th of May, 2024. These free-to-attend workshops will be taking place across a number of outdoor venues with bases at North Yorks Art School, Crescent Arts and Beeforth's Hive.
Our workshops provide an opportunity for individuals of all ages and skill levels to draw and paint in a welcoming environment with professional support. So, whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting out, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

We want as many people to come along to these free-to-attend workshops as possible and they are open to everyone; however, we only have a limited number of spaces available. If you, or someone you know, is interested in taking part, then please book a place as soon as you can.
Who would benefit most from this offer?
For many people, art classes are a luxury, which is why we are keen that this offer reaches the ears of people who are unable to attend our regular classes. Groups that are at a disadvantage might include low-income workers and those on a limited budget.

We understand that barriers to life-enhancing activities are detrimental to an individual's health and sense of place in society; so please pass this information on to people who you think would benefit the most from taking part.

We have also created two Autistic-Friendly workshops, one for adults and one for children which will take place over the weekend. More details about these specialist workshops can be found below.
